Material, Machining, Finishing, Inspection.
We pursue a commitment to super precision processing in all processes. |
| Forged
Material |
|
Steel becomes stronger the more
it is hardened.
For example, for NSS spindles, we use forged and
normalized materials just like in Japanese swords. |
|
| BTA
Deep Hole Drilling |
|
We have newly installed a
work rotation type BTA deep hole-drilling machine.
It can process a hole of φ15 to φ120 up to 1500mm deep. |
 |
| Hole
Standard |
|
External machining is performed
using the precision hole drilled by BTA deep hole-drilling
machine as a standard. |
|
| Vibration insulation shank byte holder |
|
NSS original internal
byte holder using special material.
The maximum holder length is 700mm. |
|
| High pressure coolant |
|
During internal diameter boring
processing, cutting dust stuck unto the byte is forcefully
discharged, making spindle internal diameter
boring processing easier. |
|
| Sub-zero treatment |
|
Sub-zero means deep cooling at
temperature less than 0℃. After cooling, the hardening heating
process austenite remains at room temperature.
For this reason, sub-zero
treatment refers to the process of forcefully transforming
the remainder austenite to hard martensit by cooling
at a temperature less than room temperature.
In order to increase hardness and evenness, to stabilize dimensions,
improve resistance to wear, as well as prevent secular distortion,
at NSS, we perform sub-zero treatment at −80℃. |
