| Center |
|
The center that is the core
standard for cylindrical grinding processing is a very important
part.
At NSS, we insert the hardened center crown into both edges
of the product and perform center grinding using center
grinding machine from the Swiss Fischer company.
By hardening the center, overheating during processing is prevented.
By making it a small diameter center, friction resistance is
smaller. Through enter grinding, roundness is ensured. |

| Chucking |
|
When a work piece is chucked,
work piece warping occurs due to grip pressure.
To eliminate this warping to the barest minimum, at NSS we
use special chucking equipment.
Also we installed a vertical grinding machine. With no resistance
to gravitational force,
grinding processing is possible on large work pieces
with little or no warping. |

| Factory
Floor bit Construction. |
|
No matter how good a machine
can be, if the floor on which it is installed is weak, it
will not perform at its best.
NSS factory floors are made of 80cm and above reinforced concrete
and partitioned from other machines.

| Temperature
management |
|
In order to obtain 1μm accuracy,
temperature management is a very important condition.
Although not a completely temperature-controlled room, twofold
doors, partitioning and 24 hour air conditioning even during
holidays ensures that we keep temperature at 20℃ ±1℃.
We also monitor machining water temperature.
This is because rather than room temperature, the to be processed
work piece temperature is more affected by machining
water temperature. A temperature adjuster is placed inside
the machining water tank for temperature control.
For each grinding machine, a tank containing machining water
is directly connected. Master gauge and
measuring instrument are placed inside the tank, to ensure
that work, master and measuring instrument have the same
temperature.

| Studer
|
|
We have 3 cylindrical
grinder machines （Ｓ50、Ｓ30、Ｓ20） built by the
Swiss Studer Corporation which is acclaimed to have the highest
precision standards in the world. |

| Voumard |
|
For spindle internal diameter
grinding, we use Swiss Voumard Company CNC internal
grinding machine.
A new cutting edge machine featuring Heidenhain scale feed
back mechanism, 4 Axis turret type grinding wheel Axis, 0.1μm
control
CNC equipment,
etc. |

| Marposs |
|
We use Marposs made cylindrical grinder automatic
sizing device.
Performs automatic grinding at ±1μm accuracy. |

| Skill
Dissemination |
|
In April 2008, we will employ
6 fresh graduates.
This is a very important step towards positively passing on
our craftsman skills to the next generation. |
